Beyond The Natural Foundation (BTNF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization created to empower the lives of youth through music. The founding Executive Director Robert Levine III, who is an experienced Mathematician, Songwriter, and Music Producer created this organization to give back a summation of his life experiences and make a positive contribution in the lives of youth. Through his passion for arts advocacy, BTNF was created with a mission to serve youth by engaging them in music education and performance to provide expressive therapy and inspiration for creating greater life opportunities. BTNF’s goals are for youth to 

 

• ENGAGE by participating in our music arts enrichment programs with a high rate of attendance.

• EVOLVE by becoming better off in their behavior and emotional well-being, communication and social skills, and leadership development.

• EXHIBIT improvement in their fine motor skills and musicianship.

 

Youth learn Drumming, Piano and Guitar, Steel Pan, Songwriting and Production while working on collaborative projects designed to enhance their critical thinking and writing skills. These activities are incorporated in all of our OST programs. At the heart of BTNF is the B.M.O.R.E. (Being More Optimistic and Righteously Endowed) campaign where students create a new culture of taking pride in making positive contributions to their community. As youth develop from this safe, supportive, and enriching environment, their musical skills and performances are applied to building the B.M.O.R.E. campaign to improve their community through greater collaboration, learning, creativity, and collective action on matters such as Anti-violence, Anti-bullying, and Anti-drugs. BTNF values Creativity, Collaboration, Commitment, and Community allowing our programs to foster authentic youth leadership, empowerment, and self- actualization. BTNF remains committed to using music as a tool to nurture the creativity of our youth through collaboration that builds community. We are passionate about providing youth the opportunity to explore new ideas, build new skills, find new talents, and experience success.
