During the 2018/2019 school year, we met William Gaines when he enrolled in our after-school music program at Mervo High School thanks to the generous support of Baltimore Children & Youth Fund. He was a faithful student who always showed up with a positive attitude ready to learn and grow. Will was already a talented musician when we met him but credits BTNF with “lighting a fire in him” for pursuing his music production dream. We were so excited to hear from Will when he contacted Executive Director, Rob Levine, to update us on the news of his song placement with “Sex So Good” by Chris Brown which he co-produced. We are SUPER PROUD of Will’s success and believe the best is yet to come for him.
